What’s in a name?

We chose the name Red Canoe because it symbolizes vast wildernesses, fresh air and clean, pure water: in a word, Canada. The canoe is a touchstone of our heritage and representative of the countless lakes, rivers and streams that connect our country. When you think of Canada, you can’t help thinking of water...even if it’s the frozen kind.
